Education Resources – Just a Click Away

Computer Explorers has been part of the technology education world for more than 25 years! And over the course of the years we have gathered a library of resources for use by our teachers, parents and business owners.

As part of our Website, we have begun an online Resource Center, to share updated information on technology and education – some of it our own and some of it gathered from other sources such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

What’s available now?

  • 21st Century technology skills scope and sequence for ages 6-11
  • Ages and Stages Milestones (developmental expectations) for children ages 3-5, and 6-12
  • Designing a technology plan for your school
  • Evaluation form to select software, Website and Apps for your preschooler
  • National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for administrators, students and teachers
  • ISTE student achievement brief that identifies seven factors for successful technology integration
  • ISTE teacher quality brief that discusses professional development as the key to teacher quality and effectiveness

What’s up next?

A complete “how to” curriculum for Research in the 21st Century: using the Internet to gather information, the triangle method to verify accuracy, PowerPoint ® template to replace 3×5 cards.  Plan now  for student research papers!

We are excited to share our expertise!
